Cochrane Africa
Cochrane Africa (https://africa.cochrane.org/) is a network that aims to increase the use of Cochrane evidence to inform healthcare decision-making in the sub-Saharan African region (http://www.panafrican-med-journal.com/content/article/29/196/full/#ref5). CAN builds on years of experience in collaborative projects with southern and northern partners, and on other links with networks in the region. It is organised into three Hubs and the CEBHC and Cochrane South Africa coordinates the Southern-Eastern Hub. We acknowledge funding support from the Effective Health Care Research Consortium (www.evidence4health.org) and Cochrane Central.
Cochrane Africa and the Global Evidence Synthesis Initiative conducted a survey of their members to gather information about COVID-19 research.
The survey results is available on the Cochrane Africa website https://africa.cochrane.org/news/cochrane-africa-gesi-covid-19-research-survey
