The data management and explanatory data analysis workshop was held on the 18-20 March 2014 at Stellenbosch University Tygerberg campus. The workshop was organized and facilitated by the CEBHC’s biostatistics unit lead by Dr Rhoderick Machekano. The workshop included a total of 20 participants from various professional academic and clinical backgrounds. Interactive lectures and practical examples with real word data was used to facilitate learning with the guidance of Rhoderick and Tonya Esterhuizen assisted by Moleen Zunza and Michael McCaul.
The objective of this course was to provide participants with skills to undertake moderate to high-level data management, manipulation and exploratory data analysis.
